The built-in low-noise RIAA phono preamplifier circuit with high-pass filters (to eliminate noise and rumble) ensures pristine audio capture.
The front-mounted gain control and Signal/Clip LED make it easy to optimize a wide range of analog input sources. The USB monitor/headset provides latency-free monitoring of the input source for easy cueing. The PhonoPlusPS USB can also serve as an audio playback source for any computer or laptop equipped with a USB port. TOSLINK optical input and output as well as an S/PDIF input make the PhonoPlusPS USB an ideal analog/digital audio interface to USB.
The low-noise phono preamplifier IC is highly accurate and RIAA compliant. The Line Out jacks are always connected to the input preamp signal for source monitoring or to enable use as a standalone phono preamp.
Housed in a full black anodized aluminum enclosure, the PhonoPlusPS USB can be powered either by an external power supply or directly via the USB port. To ensure maximum versatility, the PhonoPlusPS USB is fully compliant with the USB 2.0 specification and uses Adaptive USB mode for playback and Asynchronous USB mode for recording. It will work with Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP/Vista/7 USB audio device drivers as well as native USB compatible Apple OS9.1/OS-X computers.
