The PRS SE Zach Myers model also features a 22-fret, 24.5-inch-long neck, PRS Adjustable Stoptail bridge, vintage-style tuners, and 245 PRS-designed "S" pickups, paired with two volume controls and two tone controls and a three-position toggle switch. These pickups provide high-end clarity, low-end power, and an overall aggressive punch that maintains a certain smoothness.
Zach Myers, lead guitarist for the multi-platinum rock band Shinedown, picked up a PRS Custom 22 at the age of fifteen and announced his first signature SE model in 2010. As a guitarist who has performed on stage and worked for several PRS bands, Myers has an intimate understanding of what a guitar should feel like and build quality.
