Designed to fit in a guitar case, the SB-1 is the smallest DI Radial ever released! But don't be fooled by appearances, this ultra-compact StageBug is absolutely brilliant!
The SB-1 features a standard instrument jack input and a thru output for your tuner or amp on stage. The ultra-quiet active circuit converts the signal from low to high impedance to reduce sensitivity to noise and extraneous sounds that are induced over long cable lengths. With 48V phantom power, the SB-1 does not require batteries or external power to operate. Just plug in and you're ready to play!
The active circuit features a carefully selected 220k input impedance to eliminate loading issues while delivering a smooth, warm sound. This is especially important when interfacing with low output vintage guitar pickups for recording or reamping. The SB-1 also features a -15dB pad that reduces input sensitivity to properly handle even the loudest instruments. This makes the SB-1 perfectly suited to electric bass and keyboards. To reduce feedback, simply operate the polarity inverter, which eliminates areas of the stage that can generate low-frequency resonances.
