Produced only from 1981 to 1984, the Roland TB-303 was a huge commercial flop as a bass guitar replacement, but it quickly found its place as one of the most beloved synthesizers for what became electronic dance music (EDM). A faithful and ultra-affordable homage to the iconic synthesizer that gave birth to house music, plus an all-new Distortion circuit, the TD-3-SR lets you make virtually any sound appear with incredible finesse and ease. With its pure analog signal path, 16-step sequencer, and authentic VCO, VCF, and VCA filters, the TD-3-SR is sure to become one of your favorite synthesizers.

Pure analog signal path

Great care has been taken in the design of the TD-3-SR, including fidelity to the original VCO, VCF and VCA designs and pure analog circuitry with matched transistors. It's this attention to detail that gives the TD-3-SR its ultra-flexible sound-shaping capability, which covers everything from super-low bass and lead tones to stunning effects, right down to the sounds of the another world of your imagination.

Versatile VCF

The very heart of the TD-3-SR's sound is its versatile 24 dB/octave filter, which allows you to experiment freely with low-pass cutoff frequency and resonance settings to dial in the perfect sound.

The TD-3-SR's authentic voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) with solid-state wave shaping circuitry is ultra-easy to use and gives you the choice of inverted sawtooth or inverted sawtooth waveforms. impulses for ultimate sound creation.

Epoch Oscillator

The TD-3-SR's authentic voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) with solid-state wave shaping circuitry is ultra-easy to use and gives you the choice of inverted sawtooth or inverted sawtooth waveforms. impulses for ultimate sound creation.

Onboard sequencer and arpeggiator

The onboard 7-track sequencer allows you to program up to 16 steps of notes and rests and save them as a Pattern. You can record, save and recall up to 250 designs, all of which can be stored in the 4 groups. Your sequences can be played either in keyboard mode, where you create and save the pattern, or in step mode which allows you to interact while composing a pattern. The built-in arpeggiator has large patterns that you can build to provide a virtually limitless set of sound effects. Both the TD-3-SR's sequencer and arpeggiator are fun, fascinating, and totally addictive.

Controls and connectivity

For those who want the numbers, the TD-3-SR has 11 controls and 28 switches to give you direct, real-time access to all the important parameters, all presented in a very intuitive format that makes playing fun again. your musical creation. And you can expand the TD-3-SR's sound-sculpting capabilities beyond your wildest dreams by using the multi-I/O patch bay to connect external devices!
