The SP 4x4 features a backlit linear meter to monitor input voltage, giving the user a familiar analog readout when monitoring voltage from a power source.
The SP 4x4 also features ART's "4x4" distribution on the rear of the unit - four of the eight rear outlets are spaced 1.25 inches apart. This allows the user to plug in wide power cables and multiple devices with bulky wall connectors, while having a choice of eight power outlets. The SP 4x4 is equipped with a surge and spike protection system, designed to protect electrical equipment from dangerous electrical surges and spikes.
The device also has RFI and EMI filtering, a 15 amp circuit breaker and a total power of 1800 watts. The SP 4x4 also has a front-mounted on/off switch (which illuminates when powered) and a front-mounted circuit breaker reset switch. The sturdy, all-steel chassis occupies 1U rack space and is intended to be installed in standard 19" racks.
Applications for the SP 4x4 include live/PA PA systems, fixed or permanent installations, church, club and practice PA systems, DJ PA systems, home recording systems and projects, and monitoring systems.
The SP 4x4 is guaranteed for one year.
