The new Gibson Victory was created in response to players' requests for the return of this cult favorite from the 80s. Designed for limitless personal expression, it carries the DNA of the original versions with improved features such as refined body contours, improved weight and balance, and an Explorer™ headstock. The Victory has a 25.5-inch scale length and the mahogany neck has an ebony fingerboard with a compound radius for better playability, a SlimTaper™ profile, and 24 medium jumbo frets. The mahogany body features a Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece and a satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The highly flexible electronics include two 80s Tribute humbucker™ pickups wired for push/pull master volume and tone controls for coil splitting and inner/outer coil selection when coils are split, which, along with the three-position pickup selector, offer a wide range of humbucking and single-coil tone options with a minimum number of controls. A Gibson hardshell case is also included.
