Evolution of the V30 The Jack model, increased power and added nuances of V40, The Sheriff 44 and VX The Kraken V30 The Jack players will find the huge clean headroom and overdrive they love...and more.

We've also added two modes in between: one for clean and classic V40 and Sheriff style push drives; the other for channel 1's Kraken-derived gain. The 6L6 four-valve power section can also be switched from 100 to 30 watts for even more tonal flexibility. Everything is clean, all gain, effortless power.

The Jack changed from the Countess in late 2020 to better represent the versatility of the amplifier, it is still the same amplifier inside and the changes made are purely visual and in name. MIA AWARDS 2017 V130 The Super Countess was a finalist in the Amplifier category in the 'Trusted Music Store Product of the Year 2017' category. GUITARIST'S CHOICE AWARD September 2017 “We think this is the most versatile amp Victory has produced to date...well worth the asking price. EQUIPMENT OF THE YEAR 2017 V130 The Super Countess selected as one of this year's top picks by Guitarist Magazine in their Amp Head Category Four Channel Modes V30 The Jack has two channels: very high clean and very high overdrive heavy (as Guthrie Govan wanted).

In V130, we added two modes in between. The Clean channel gets a “crunch” mode for light breakup and classic overdrive reminiscent of the sounds of the V40 and Sheriff 44. The Overdrive channel's additional mode is Voice I, derived from channel 1 of VX The Kraken with the input by Rabea Massaad. They are all footswitchable. Vic_V130_detail_07_edited.jpg Masters for each channel Balancing your cleaner and acquired sounds is often a challenge, especially in a band context. With the V130's enormous headroom, Channel Masters give you the control you need to ensure all your tones are heard loud and clear. People have asked why the tone controls are common across all modes: our answer is that the EQ is optimized to work across the full range.

Balance it with your chosen cabin - not too much, not too little - and the V130 remains balanced in all modes. Serial Effects Loop A serial effects loop sits between the pre and power sections for whatever pedals you want to install there. We find that modern digital delays and reverbs can sound clearer in the loop, while more traditional analog delays, modules, etc. can sound cleaner in the loop. sound great straight from the front of the amp. The only “right” way is the one that works best for you. Vic_V130_detail_08_edited.jpg 100 or 30 watts 100 watts of 6L6 power section can be incredibly loud if you want it to be. But it's not just about volume: the V130's high headroom capabilities give you clarity and massive dynamic range across the entire sound spectrum.

It's a feeling and response that many players love. You can also upgrade to 30 watts for a less bold feel, lower volume and more power. Vic_V130_detail_10_edited.jpg External Bias Adjustment Eliminate all the hassle of replacing outlet valves with the V130's external bias measurement and adjustment points. All you need is a new set of power valves and a multimeter. It's fast, safe and reliable - you can find full instructions in the amp's manual.
