Go under the hood to adjust key click, leakage, rotary speaker speed and more to get the unique organ sound you're looking for.
ROTARY SPEAKER VCM
YC61 brings you the authentic sounds of classic rotary speakers without any maintenance. Choose from two faithfully modeled rotating speaker profiles: clean and full or dirty and aggressive and adjust the speed of the upper or lower rotor for total control.
VCM EFFECTS
The VCM recreates the sound and behavior of vintage effects and high-end studio signal processors by modeling the circuitry down to the level of original analog components.
FM ORGAN
In 1983, Yamaha introduced the world to the iconic sounds of FM (frequency modulation) synthesis with the launch of the DX7. Today, the YC61 brings FM synthesis to the organ for a new generation of players. Just switch to the FM organ and your drawbars control 8 FM operators that send out pure sound with massive bass. Add a rotating speaker or amp simulation effects for character and ambiance. Intuitive controls make it easy to discover new sounds. You can also recreate classic solid-state organ sounds, from warm to warm to buzzy, by choosing one of three popular FM organ modes.
Yamaha PREMIUM ACOUSTIC PIANOS
The YC61 is equipped with two high-end concert grand pianos: the Yamaha CFX and the Yamaha S700. These pianos deliver dynamic expression and full nuances through meticulous recording and singing. Additionally, you can enjoy the powerful Yamaha C7 and the popular vintage-voiced U1, as well as six electric piano voices.

DRAWBARS
The YC61's nine drawbars have the visuals and click you expect from an organ. But there's more to these pull-up bars than what's visible to the naked eye. Transparent tie rod sets with customizable LED light color make it easy to see the differences between simulated top and bottom setups and play in split mode. It's like having a virtual set of gauges that gives you more sounds, more flexibility, and more choices than you ever imagined in a compact stage keyboard.
MOBILITY
The YC61 weighs 7.1 kg. So it's compact and light enough that you can be your own roadie. But with a sound that players who can afford roadies will appreciate.
COMPUTER/iOS
The YC61 has a built-in USB and MIDI stereo audio interface for Mac, PC and iOS. With a single USB cable, you can record audio and MIDI from the YC61 to a digital audio workstation and play and monitor virtual instruments.
